Day 1: Arrival at Delhi
You’ll be received by our representative upon arrival at the international airport. After being escorted to your hotel, check-in and spend the night resting in your hotel room.
Day 2: Delhi-Agra
After breakfast at hotel, you’ll be taken to visit the old Delhi. Splendid monuments such as Red Fort, Jama Masjid and famous market of Chandni Chowk would be covered. Then it’s time for New Delhi tour. Outstanding government buildings have wonderful architectures. These were designed by British architecture, Mr. Edwin Luteyans, who was also the mind behind historical India Gate and plush Presidential Palace. After visiting these, you will be taken to Qutub Minar. Once done with Delhi tour, we’ll proceed to Agra. Upon arrival, check-in to hotel and spend night resting in your hotel room.
Day 3: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur
After breakfast at hotel, visit Agra Fort and Taj Mahal, two major offerings of the city. Spend the night resting in your hotel room. Taj Mahal was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, as it was the last wish of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. In those ancient days, 20 thousand laborers were hired and 32 crore rupees were spent in the construction of Taj Mahal, which is counted amongst the UNESCO world heritage sites.
Take on drive to Jaipur, while stopping over at the city of Fatehpur Sikri, which was built by Mughal emperor Akbar in 1569. Birbal Bhawan, Jodha Mahal, Shaikh Salim Chisti tomb are few of its offerings. Proceed with your journey to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check-in to hotel and spend the night resting in your hotel room.
Day 4: Jaipur
After breakfast at hotel, visit Amber Fort. There you can relish the elephant ride. The fort is extensive so your visit will only be completed by afternoon. Then you will be taken for a ride around the city so that you can admire the setting. City Palace is the next in line and it is the place where the royal family still resides. Leaving the few rooms, entire palace is open for the visitors. Old weapons and paintings are preserved there.
Then is a trip to Hawa Mahal, which has 953 small windows and was built for royal Rajput women so that they can get the sight of outside world as they couldn’t step out in public. Next excursion is to Jantar-Mantar Observatory, where vast astronomical instruments are displayed. In the evening, take delight in leisurely walk. Go back to hotel and spend night resting in hotel room.
Day 5: Jaipur-Pushkar
After breakfast at hotel, start journey to Pushkar, which is a holy town offering ancient temples such as Savitri Temple, Man Mahal and a lot more. Most of the temples at Pushkar were rebuilt after they were destroyed by Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. It also has world famous Brahma Temple, which is the only temple bestowed to this god. The holy lake of Pushkar has number of Ghats and there is a common practice among the pilgrims to take a dip in its waters. Around the ghats, photography or smoking is prohibited. Spend the night in Pushkar.
Day 6: Pushkar – Jodhpur
After breakfast at Pushkar, start journey to Jodhpur. Have a leisurely evening and spend the night in the city.
Day 7: Jodhpur – Udaipur (300kms approx)
Known as the Sun City, Jodhpur was founded by Rathore chief Rao Jodha in 1459. In earlier days it was known as Marwar and is the second largest city of Rajasthan after Jaipur. Its two parts are Old Jodhpur and New Jodhpur, and they are separated by a 10km long wall. It’s a major tourist hub as it presents splendid palaces and fort, namely Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Raj Ka Bag Palace. Government Museum and Umail Garden are also a pleasure to visit.
After breakfast, we will be covering these locations in the city, and then will head to Udaipur. Upon reaching check-in to hotel to spend the night.
Day 8: Udaipur
After breakfast, head out to explore the striking city of Udaipur. Referred as Venice of East, Udaipur was built by the Rajput ruler Maharana Udai Singh in 1559 AD. At that time it was popularly known as Mewar. The city is known for its lakes, forts and palaces.
You’ll be visiting the prominent City Palace, which is really extensive. Post the palace, jaunt to stunning locations such as Saheliyon ki Bari, Jagdish Temple, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir and Pratap Memorial. Spend your night resting in your hotel room.
